Raya is undoubtedly a visual feast. It’s also the best kind of feminist film in that it’s one that doesn’t clobber you with the message. Raya is allowed to be awesome without the script shouting about it all the time and it’s better for it. Read full review

It's really one of the best original films of the year that isn't a musical (for once). You'll laugh and might even shed a tear like I did tonight. They really did a great job making this film at home during the covid-19 virus.

One of the most beautiful animated movies I've ever seen with nearly every shot being eye-gasm. Solid story. Mostly a predictable plot. Excellent performances by all.

'Raya and the Last Dragon' is a solid new entry in Disney's animated universe. Despite a formulaic plot, the story and mythos built here are engaging and interesting. Raya and Sisu sure will strike a note not on young audiences but on adult ones too. The animation is outstanding and'Raya and the Last Dragon' is a solid new entry in Disney's animated universe. This movie is okay. The characters are interesting but underdeveloped. After 5 minutes of introduction to the side characters, they're in the background for the rest of the film. The modern talk is cringe-worthy. Raya's naivete at the beginning feels fake. The beautiful environments aren'tThis movie is okay. The characters are interesting but underdeveloped. The beautiful environments aren't developed and explored for time's sake. The action and score is great. The powers the dragon gets are unused. The ending is good. The dragon does receive character growth, even after almost dying. I thinks the story would have been better if they had Raya lose in the spine battle and the dragon not appearing to have a low point scene, rather than an action scene with no purpose plotwise other than frustrating her rival and revealing the dragon. It's fine. I feel like this movie is moana but less good… Expand

Only bad writers would make a movie this generic and boring! They actually made a dragon I didn't like, and that's saying a lot cause I love dragons. Disney is going to hell, don't make the same mistake I did and pay a whole year of Disney+
