Roseanne Liang's Shadow in the Cloud is the type of genre movie that makes many of its bizarre choices just for the sake of seeing if it can all work. But whether you find the film to be ambitious, or just some stunt screenwriting, it's intriguing to watch an audacious filmmaker try to keep midnight-ready movies unpredictable, even if that means a sincere but silly mash-up of WWII dogfights, gremlin chaos, and feminism in action such as this. Well, that was ridiculously entertaining and fun. It’s so refreshing to watch a film that does its own thing without trying to fit into one of the established genres.

Approaches Spielberg in its simplicity, emotional depth of main character and and using "absolute implausibility" to disorient viewers so no telling what will happen next in this B+ genre romp. A film MADE BY WOMEN about a STRONG WOMAN. This film surprised me in a way I didn't expect. Reading the plot for the film, I thought it was a ridiculous/poor idea for a film to combine sci-fi with war. Was this meant to be about female empowerment or like how a mothers love for their child give them a fight and will like no other? If that's what they were going for, IMO they still massively missed the mark. I like weird movies but this was real bad.

Easily one of the ten worst movies I have ever seen. A true disgrace to pulpy cinema, bombastic action, midnight creature features, true feminism, and the men who gave their lives fighting for the freedoms that allowed the screenwriters and cast to churn out such lowest common denominator trash.

Plot is insanely stupid, horror - nonexistent and writers clearly have deep hatred for men.
