Proves so determinedly ebullient you begin to think they're pumping laughing gas into the auditorium. The most kid-friendly DC movie so far, the film is thoroughly entertaining.
It’s terrific fun, and none of the things that were threatening to turn DC Entertainment into the cinematic equivalent of a black hole. Just when the world needs a superhero with a gift for silliness, here he is in a movie whose best superpower turns out to be a good heart.

Casting is a strong suit here, and even the incidental characters are distinctive and precise.
In Shazam!, the positives outweigh the negatives. The film’s fresh aspects are strong enough to keep the stale ones at bay.
Although it’s technically about saving the world (again), Shazam! plays out at eye level, grounded by the belief that who people love and where they feel they belong is stakes enough. If that violates the exigencies of franchise filmmaking, so be it.
One wishes the movie had a little more heft to it. It's fine, even welcome, to see a superhero exult in his abilities, and on that level, "Shazam!" is generally fun. Even so, that lightning symbol notwithstanding, the film only occasionally conjures the spark of magic that gives the title its meaning.
By the end, Shazam! feels like a corporate product that’s so thirsty for approval from all quadrants that it never ends up figuring out what it is.
Brilliantly done. Art work, costumes are good matching the glow of the movie. Story is strong, matching the actual timeline.

A comic book movie that was designed to make people chuckle and laugh and where it did do that and did it okay...I felt like there was a lot of moments here just forced on for the sake of **** felt like this was a movie where it had to hit certain pop culture references for the sake of a laugh (Kid turns into adult with super powers and one of the first things he does is Floss because kids etc) It isnt a bad DCEU movie at all, It is one of the better ones for sure but personally felt a bit TOO forced on...

Shazam! I just didn't want to, but my friends persuaded me. Unfortunately, I still have to stand behind the fact that it was worth the old slipper. A story with nothing at all with nothing much plot. The main character did not catch. The action scenes are good, but the music to them is not masterful either. For me, an above-average film that I do not recommend.

Честно говоря, фильм очень-очень детский! Конечно смотреть на надувного качка с интеллектом второкласника интересно, но только если тебе 10 лет.
Взрослым здесь ловить нечего, в первом фильме про Соника смысловая нагрузка была и то больше! Второкласникам желательно тоже не смотреть, фильмец угнетающе влеяет на развивающийся мозг.
Если кто то думает, что фильм похож на каких нибудь "Детей шпионов" (фильм тоже вроде для детей), то разочарую. Фильмы Родригеса хотя бы смешными были, Шазам - нет!
