It was just so mundane. Imagine what they could have done with a concept based on evil mushies. The possibilities are so far reaching and yet they settled on some crappy slasher crap. The funniest part of the movie is that they pick the creepiest place imaginable to trip out, and decide to go all the way to Ireland to find some mushrooms. I got the movie, because I thought it would be funny to see a bunch of idiots have a nightmarish trip on evil mushrooms, but as it turned out the "shrooms" (a word I never want to use again after hearing it 10,000 times in the movie) had very little to do with most of the action in the movie. It just wasn't realistic enough to its title to be funny, and not suprising enough to be all that enjoyable.… Expand

Just...well. 3/10 is mean, I'll admit, but it was just one of those films that I managed to watch the entire duration of with nothing but a somewhat unimpressed face on. I didn't like any of the characters, I found them all to be so stupidJust...well. 3/10 is mean, I'll admit, but it was just one of those films that I managed to watch the entire duration of with nothing but a somewhat unimpressed face on. I didn't like any of the characters, I found them all to be so stupid that I didn't really mind the fact that their trip was clearly not going to go all too well for them. It did make me jump, but the film relied almost 100% on jump scares, a pet hate of mine. Sure, have a few drinks and give it a watch but I can't see how this film is really anything but a fairly standard slasher film in fancy dress. Just don't take a trip and go wandering around in the pitch black woods and chances are, you'll be fine, lesson learned, thanks film.… Expand
