Skin is a little pedestrian and obvious in its early stages, skirting with the feeling of a television production. It is the nature of the story and the scale of the mountain that Widner had to climb that finally makes it into something more compelling. Read full review

A bit empty and superficial. It doesn't address the issue as I would have liked but it is worth a look because of Jamie Bell's performance.

It's not the best drama you can find among so many options but it's a proposal more attractive than bland.

The true story behind Skin is a great one. The acting in Skin is good all around as well. Unfortunately, how the story is actually portrayed in Skin feels hollow with some over the top melodramatic moments towards the end.
