The only possible reason to see this otherwise average afternoon waster is Sagemiller.
One of those frustrating movies that takes forever to get where it's going, and once arriving, the frustration is increased because one realizes how much better it should have been.
A horror movie that's not horrific enough, Soul Survivors plays like a "Twilight Zone" by way of "Touched by an Angel."
It is merely another inept teen movie ripping off better horror movies.
The film was cut down from an R rating to get a PG-13, but even if it had full-on Eliza Dushku nudity -- and it doesn't have anything close -- Soul Survivors would still suck.
The actors are game, but their roles lack color and depth, and it's a real struggle to survive Soul Survivors to the finish.
A truly awful mix of bad direction, nonsensical story line and dialogue that appears to have been made up on the spot.
