Loud, gory, sometimes silly, sometimes scary, and nearly always constant fun, Studio 666 is tailored to a pretty specific audience but has the potential to break outside of that niche, thanks to its commitment to old-school horror tropes with a hearty side of rock and roll. Read full review

It's harmless fun, enough to achieve a place among music movie curios like Ringo Starr/Harry Nillson's unwatchable Son of Dracula (1973) and the equally cringe-worthy Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park (1978). For what it’s worth, Studio 666 is leagues better than both of those efforts. Read full review

The truth is, Studio 666 really is just one joke, and so McDonnell had only one play that he could make here — to take that joke, to hit it hard and keep hitting it, and then get out fast, while the audience is still laughing. It was so bad it was amazing! I went into that cinema expecting not much and got a great twisty story, inventive gorey moments(the chainsaw scene lol), some cheap but decent comedy, and great rock. On top of that the lack of acting ability just added to the comedy, Rami being the highlight.It was so bad it was amazing!
