If you want to go to the movies and enjoy yourself, this is one outstanding film. Because of the serious nature much of the glamor was greatly reduced. Hank played his role almost without emotion but because of his interpersonal skills (the real Sully) this works out perfectively. Great movie and heart felt ending. Only think I hated is when that lady dropped into the water and swim away from the plane. I thought that part was lame but over all I really enjoyed the movie. It was spot on.

Sully is a very good movie based on the true story of a successful plane crashing in the Hudson River. The film tells the narrative in a non-linear fashion which I found quite effective. Tom Hanks is pilot whose plane encounters a problem after take-off. Some unnecessary jumping back and forth takes place. Hanks is first treated as a hero and then doubts creep in, though I couldn't doubt Tom Hanks for an instant, which left me asking me no questions as the movie drifted by.Tom Hanks is pilot whose plane encounters a problem after take-off. Sully is just a solid representation of a true story. Tom Hanks is typical Tom Hanks he's great. The story is well told and told in interesting kind of way. The problem with Sully is there's just nothing flashy or overly exciting. An unspectacular movie that had such potential. B

this film bored me to death. there was nothing there. i just wanted it to by over,the acting was ok but there was nothing good about this film this was just not that good.
