The movie suffers from being the same shape as so many modern blockbusters, and the plot in the second half of the film is basically another riff on the “reach the glowing doodad on a roof to prevent the end of the world” structure. But the focus on the Turtles and the film’s overall amiable sense of goofball humor carries the day.
It's good movie and all the people going berserk and rating it 0s and 1s are out of their **** a children's movie which gets the job done and the turtles themselves are presented faithfully.people just like to haate
This is already a better film than the first film, with the introductions of Bebop, Rocksteady, Kraang and Casey Jones. Ths is a film made by turtle fans, for turtle fans. Definitely check it out.
Out of the Shadows’ barrels forward like such a rampaging beast that it decimates everything – plot, character, emotion, basic visual lucidity – in its wake.
Considerably better than its predecessor, the central four may give it their all but the people behind this franchise sadly don’t seem all that interested in their crime-fighting, pizza-eating heroes.
Cowabunga, the vigilante demi-gods on a half shell are back, and more inane and irritating than ever. Their antics make the 112 minutes it takes to watch this frenetic followup to 2014's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles a torturous mindfuck for any sentient being over the age of infancy.
It’s soon clear that OOTS follows the model of Bay’s Transformers sequels. Longer, louder and boasting even more hardware, it does everything to generate the illusion of bleeding-edge bang-per-buck, while cribbing shamelessly from 1991’s Secret of the Ooze.
This movie was surprisingly good.Michael Bay directed **** what happened.Anyway Fox is decent in here turtles still look like nightmares but still it was a really solid movie about the turtles.
I loved this film at first but watching it now, it's just not as good as the first. it relies Far Too much on Fan Service to a point where it just contradicts the last film. although it does have a lot of Fun Moments and gives us one of the Best Interpratations of Krang in media.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is an extended episode of the 1980s cartoon come onto the big screen. It features the same type of stupidity, vapid plotting and childish nature as that old cartoon series. But... Since I grew up watching that, this TMNT flick was a lot of idiotic fun. My only complaint really is that the final action sequence should have been better and should have featured Shredder, Bepob and Rocksteady more.
Its hard to make a dumb movie now being DUMBER than a dumb movie from the 90's. Its REALLY HARD.
And not only that, this CGI monsters take away the good looking ninja turtles and turn them into Lago Ness Monsters.
