Perlman and McDowell do a phenomenal job with an incredibly inconsistent, poorly written script written by someone who is seemingly conflicted on if the movie should be one about drama, romance, action or a mix of all of the three. For the most part, The cast delivers but again, You can only do so much with a poorly written script that shines at some moments but mostly fails for the rest of it.
