Basically, this movie is just decent, family-friendly fun. It's not profound, astounding, or action-packed, but it appeals to the same sort of sensibilities that 2015's Goosebumps did. It may not be the best movie of all time, but I don't think there's anything really wrong with it, either. It's one of the only Halloween-type movies that you can watch without gore or sadistic violence and torment, and for that, it's okay in my book.… Expand
