Visually and storytelling-wise it’s not a cut above much of what kids can watch on TV these days. This is a franchise that looks like it’s slowly going the way of the dinos, while we drool.

Seriously i don't understand all the negative reviews, i despite i saw all the previous 5 movies in order, i really liked this one, really funny, compelling story and very good graphics, i recommend everyone to see it and ignore the negative reviews

It’s the extreme age-specificity and seeming low effort of Buck Wild that makes it more content than feature film.

While there are certain shots that provoke an emotional pull, whether that be fear, sadness or wonderment, there’s a synthetic quality to them. It leaves us yearning for a full immersion into this world of make-believe. Environments lack depth and dimension, coming across flat and uninteresting.

I'll give this movie an 8/10 because even though the animation is bad the story is interesting and the jokes are funny, plus the ending is emotional

This movie is of course the worst Ice Age movie so far. The animation looked cheap. It's not the original voice actors. But the movie over all is just fine.

For me it was average movie, bit surprised about so many low ratings, but I guess it is due to how different it is to previous ones and maybe too much Disney like predictability?

I've always said it, this franchise, never should have become one. They never managed to replicate the humor of the first movie and this spin-off is even a bigger downgrade in quality. Disney may continue to exploit it, and if so, they need to work hard to bring it back to life.

I really enjoy the Ice Age movies. Usually, I great, reliable hour and a bit of entertainment. This is a real step down. The animation is weird. It’s not terrible, but if I didn’t know any better, I’d swear I was just watching a tv show. The casting - poor. Not because the actors were bad as such. But you can’t take a franchise with such distinct and likeable voices, replace all but one and expect people to buy in. Overall - if you can’t get the actors that have that made those characters what they were to be interested in your movie - don’t expect the audience to either
