I understand these movies aren't supposed to be original. This movie is supposedly for kids. Yet, we've seen that you can make a movie that both kids and adults can enjoy (or kids enjoy and adults ball their eyes out over, I'm looking at you UP and Toy Story 3). Un Papa Con Pocas Pulgas es una película que tenia muy buenas ideas, pero muchas de ellas terminan siendo tiradas al traste, ya sea por tener no saber aprovecharlas o por relleno puro. Hay demasiado humor tonto, y las situaciones serias contrastan demasiado sin haber mucho equilibrio. AdemasUn Papa Con Pocas Pulgas es una película que tenia muy buenas ideas, pero muchas de ellas terminan siendo tiradas al traste, ya sea por tener no saber aprovecharlas o por relleno puro. Hay demasiado humor tonto, y las situaciones serias contrastan demasiado sin haber mucho equilibrio. Ademas de tener algunos huecos argumentales: No se sabe que pasa con los dos científicos de azul al final o como sabia Douglas el verdadero nombre del perro. Si bien en su momento le tuve mucha nostalgia, me doy cuenta ahora de que es una película muy mala, con un gran potencial desperdiciado.… Expand

Movie includes disturbing, dark and diabolical genetic mutation plot, stun guns and lots of needles, dressed up with cute pet tricks and family bonding. Thematic material was over the head of the 3-year-old I brought and unappealing to the 8-year old with me. Yuck.
