While the kills in the first movie were quite imaginative, they also erred slightly into the fantastical. The Wrath of Becky grounds its kills more in reality, but it doesn't pull back on the gore whatsoever.
It’s possible to fuse pulp with prestige while still saying smart things about the seismic political shifts required for creeps like the Proud Boys to skitter from the rocks they live under and infest society’s better elements. The Wrath of Becky makes no such effort. It’s built to thrill and made for chuckles, offset by Seann William Scott’s looming menace.

Soma-se a vingança explorada em "Kill bill" mas de forma um pouco mais slash com o discurso feminista de "A bela vingança", num roteiro que acentua novos tipos de organizações masculinas ao estilo "redpill", e teremos esse filme onde uma protagonista sofre o pão que o diabo amassou, é orfã, tem sua mãe de criação assassinada por esses malhos "pequenos Trumps", e daí estamos prontos para nos deliciarmos com muito sangue hétero xy.Claro que o roteiro não é sutil, seja nas mortes ou nas referências. O filho de um dos homens se chama Adolf, enquanto outro carrega o "Mein Kampf".Interessante que ao pesquisar sobre o termo "redpill" (diga-se, não é citado no filme), descobri que tem origens em um contexto cultural, particularmente associado à comunidade online, especialmente em fóruns e discussões relacionadas a temas como política, relacionamentos e visões de mundo tendo como base o filme "The Matrix" (1999), onde o protagonista, Neo, é oferecido uma pílula vermelha e uma pílula azul pelo personagem Morpheus. A escolha entre as pílulas representa a decisão de aceitar a verdade, por mais desconfortável que seja (pílula vermelha), ou permanecer na ignorância e viver uma vida confortável, mas ilusória (pílula azul).Assim, na cultura online, "red pill" foi adotado para descrever a escolha de buscar a verdade ou a realidade, muitas vezes em oposição a narrativas convencionais ou consensos sociais. No entanto, ao longo do tempo, o termo evoluiu e, em alguns casos, foi associado a comunidades ou ideologias específicas que podem ter conotações **** exemplo, em certos círculos online, como os movimentos conhecidos como "Red Pill" e "Men's Rights Activism" (ativismo pelos direitos dos homens), o termo pode ser usado para descrever uma perspectiva crítica em relação às relações de gênero, com algumas visões sendo criticadas por promoverem ideias sexistas ou hostis. No filme, chamam-se "homens nobres".Então basicamente torcemos para tudo que a protagonista Rebeca possa fazer, e por mais que o filme seja divertido, infelizmente o roteiro facilita em muito a vida da protagonista, com reviravoltas tão convenientes que tratam os vilões como estúpidos. Mas tirando isso, é um filme gostoso de ver, afinal, queremos mesmo, no fundo, tacar fogo nos misóginos.

The Wrath of Becky is entertaining enough. But perhaps inevitably, with its heroine grown to near-adulthood, the novelty is a bit dulled now.
Don’t get me wrong: I’m not saying that I enjoy violent films, but The Wrath of Becky is an example of a film that disappoints its audience with a failed promise. Given the extreme violence of the last film, we aren’t just shocked enough by the battle between her and the group of antagonists who have a veritable arsenal in their barn to start a small war.
The Wrath of Becky delivers satisfying action, as this underestimated heroine — well-played by Wilson — makes some terrible people look like absolute fools.
Expecting to catch lightning in a bottle twice was mostly wishful thinking on the part of everyone involved.
Killing bigots is a fine enough pretext for this sort of watered-down post-grindhouse entertainment, but if you’re honestly going to go there, you can’t stop til you’re past the point of apology.
Awful. Just horrible beyond horrible and I'm talking in ALL departments: Story = A cliched bore. Acting = Ham fisted. Score = Ugh. Music should not overpower a scene.
Editing = Hey mom, look at my cool quick shots editing! and Cinematography = Every scene is lit up like a Roman candle. Did I mention how bad it is overall? This is embarrassment in every single department.
