Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman and Morgan Freeman. That is all you need for an outstanding movie. Well ofcourse all the other movie elements are there on an above average level, although I`m pretty sure it would still be a great flick without them. This movie presents a simple story aboutClint Eastwood, Gene Hackman and Morgan Freeman. That is all you need for an outstanding movie. Well ofcourse all the other movie elements are there on an above average level, although I`m pretty sure it would still be a great flick without them. This movie presents a simple story about vengence and that`s it. You don`t need much more than that to make a western. But this story shows more to it when we see the movie. A broken drunkard who turns out to be the devil himself, his friend who got himself found in the wrong time and the wrong place and an aggressive gun tootin` cowboy who doesn`t really get it. Faced by a Sherriff who thinks he knows what is good and what is bad. Like every ten rated movie, this one has its own legendary scene - a saloon scene I`ve never seen in any other western movie. It is a story of the wild wild west, where hardly anyone was a real hero. There are no real heroes and there are no real villains.… Expand

Unforgiven is honestly a brilliant western movie and it's directed by the man himself Clint Eastwood.

The movie's about William Munny (Clint Eastwood) who's currently a widower with two young kids and he used to be known as one of the most violent gun fighter's in the old west. He laterUnforgiven is honestly a brilliant western movie and it's directed by the man himself Clint Eastwood.

The movie's about William Munny (Clint Eastwood) who's currently a widower with two young kids and he used to be known as one of the most violent gun fighter's in the old west.

He later get's approached by Schofield Kid with an offer which William Munny will never refuse. Also, the movie's got some amazing acting from all the cast, especially William Munny (Clint Eastwood) and Ned Logan (Morgan Freeman) those two are honestly brilliant.

I noticed the chemistry which William and Ned had throughout this movie was honestly outstandingly good.

The dialogue from all the characters throughout this movie is honestly great and their dialogue doesn't feel forced or anything like that.

Finally, Unforgiven has got some great pacing and it works very well for the upcoming scenes.

The action scenes throughout this movie are built up very well and they're very dark but also cleverly put together.

The movie's even got some beautiful cinematography from Jack N. Green, it's honestly brilliantly shot either that being for a normal scene or an action scene.

Overall, it's a brilliant western movie, it's got a great plot, amazing acting, great chemistry between Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freeman, great dialogue, very dark but amazing fight scenes and some beautiful cinematography. It's honestly worth the watch.… Expand

First off, this would be a 9.5 out of 10. Great western film. Acting is good. Morgan is good, and Clint is really good. Score all right. Story is amazing. A great tale of the wild, old west. Action is also well done. Overall, unforgiven is great. It is best picture material, and one of theFirst off, this would be a 9.5 out of 10. Great western film. Acting is good. Llegue a unforgiven gracias a Logan, una de sus citadas influencias y como estoy entrando cada vez más a este género western gracias al maestro Sergio Leone y al inigualable Clint Eastwood y a ese ultimo le tengo muchísima confianza.

Unforgiven arranca con una muerte, de la esposa deLlegue a unforgiven gracias a Logan, una de sus citadas influencias y como estoy entrando cada vez más a este género western gracias al maestro Sergio Leone y al inigualable Clint Eastwood y a ese ultimo le tengo muchísima confianza.

Unforgiven arranca con una muerte, de la esposa de nuestro protagonista, un poco seco y bastante contextualizado pero nos plantea lo siguiente, William Munny era una persona terrible pero se volvió en alguien muy humano contra todo pronóstico, pero el destino lo persigue y su fama atrae a un joven iluso que le propone ir tras una recompensa con la cual el podrá sustentar a su familia. El no desea volver a esa vida, pero la necesidad puede con el y le toca volver a montar a su caballo, tomar sus armas y dar una aventura más. y así ya tenemos un desarrollo y un planteamiento muy directo y efectivo para que conozcamos a nuestro protagonista, pero Unforgiven da otra sorpresa que no me esperaba y es su estructura.

Unforgiven trabaja contra los pronósticos, es normal identificar por dónde van los tiros en la historia, predecir el siguiente movimiento pero está película se mueve de forma natural, alejándose de lo que esperamos, se nos introduce un personaje con todas las pintas de ser el villano principal, sus diálogos, su apariencia, un pequeño secuaz y una habilidad intimidante nos avisa “mira el sera el malo y da miedo” pero el guión se encarga construir todo esto para que una fuerza mayor derrumbe está imagen y naturalmente se crea un antagonista mucho más superior por fuerza, por habilidad y por astucia es brillante, y la peli hace muchas veces esto, nos establece que nuestros protagonistas son imparables y que la edad no h mermado su habilidad pero nos demuestra todo lo contrario y esa es la riqueza de este western y como película, destruye convicciones comunes y construye más sobre estos cimientos.… Expand

Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman, Morgan Freeman, Richard Harris... voilà les vieux dirigés par Papy Clint lui-même sous le prétexte du western "crépusculaire" dans lequel erre une vieille baderne, ordure à ses heures et temps perdus... à ce qu'il paraît !

Pendant tout le film, on nous ressasseClint Eastwood, Gene Hackman, Morgan Freeman, Richard Harris... voilà les vieux dirigés par Papy Clint lui-même sous le prétexte du western "crépusculaire" dans lequel erre une vieille baderne, ordure à ses heures et temps perdus... à ce qu'il paraît !

Pendant tout le film, on nous ressasse les "exploits" et autres horreurs du boucher "William Munny" comme s'il s'agissait de Dark Vador en personne et pourtant difficile d'y croire lorsqu'on voit l'échalas plus très loin de l'hospice. Carrément à la masse pour ne pas dire complètement à l'ouest, Clint abuse de son personnage limite handicapé sénile, quitte à en faire une caricature plus moins involontaire.

Puis, officiant comme une campagne de recrutement pour la NRA, Papy fait le ménage tout-à-coup comme s'il venait de récupérer son taux de glucose (un Mars et ça repart), le tout très premier degré dans sa vengeance froide et se donnant comme toujours le beau rôle, même s'il paraît qu'il est le pire des affreux salopards que la terre ait jamais porté... et il se permet de faire passer le shérif (un peu brusque certes) pour l'anté-christ lui-même.

Non, vraiment, ça ne tient pas debout, ni dans sa narration ni dans son traitement. Le film se traîne d'ailleurs un peu trop et radote comme un vieux con. Et si second degré il y a , il se borne à quelques clins d'oeil lourdauds destinés à faire mousser encore davantage notre inspecteur Harry Munny.

Cela n'empêche pas totalement le film de faire illusion un certain temps de par sa mise en scène soignée malgré (ou grâce à) la parade permanente de Papy Clint (arrête de parader comme ça, je vais finir par avoir peur !) et l'excellente prestation de Gene Hackman, décidément un sacré acteur qui tire très souvent les marrons du feu.

Impitoyable se révèle donc une coquille bien vide cannibalisée par l'immense ego de l'acteur qui a vidé de leur substance toutes les tentatives de raconter une histoire.… Expand
