Any hope of prestige is dashed by the heavy-handed, cliché-ridden direction of former stuntman Johnny Martin and his star’s detached portrayal of a guy whose mind is permanently elsewhere. Read full review

A very American story, by which I mean it didn’t have enough “universal” elements to make it more than a very interesting film. The acting was excellent as was the direction.

This was a promising movie for the first 20 minutes or so. The tragedy and violence portrayed were not only convincing, but actually fomented a lust for vengeance in the viewer. Second act. Ans yes, a decision that sets up the expected 3rd act for the much anticipated Charles Bronson type carnage.

Nope. What we get is some poorly unraveled Lifetime plot, phoned in acting (in the tradition of 1-out-of-3 Cage movies), and the budget values of a Saturday night Sci-Fi Channel movie. This movie was only missing the female victim being seen by Dr. Albert Beck (Eric Roberts).… Expand
