Venom: Let There Be Carnage is a bold and brisk superhero story, unlike any other mainstream Hollywood film in the genre. It crams a heck of a lot of movie into an hour and a half, but it doesn’t feel like it needed to be longer. It just feels like we need more movies like it.
On its face, Venom 2 is a no-frills, rock-and-roll superhero flick that unashamedly swings for the fences when it comes to camp and cheese. Yet beneath those elements, it’s strangely about finding love and the intimacy of relationships, building on the rom-com core of the first movie.

If brevity is indeed the soul of wit, at a tidy 90 minutes, Venom: Let There Be Carnage is on point for what it largely is - a violently slapstick domestic sitcom.
Venom: Let There be Crazy, Stupid Love isn’t a great movie, but it doesn’t matter because it’s just big, dumb, romantic fun.
Venom may not have realized it was a so-bad-it’s-good cult classic, but Let There Be Carnage is striving to maintain that status from minute one.
Andy Serkis directed. Serkis, who’s given so many memorable acting performances (Gollum! Caesar the chimpanzee!), doesn’t elicit any here. The great cinematographer Robert Richardson shot the movie, which makes its lack of visual texture all the more dispiriting.
To say Venom: Let There Be Carnage is not worth seeing is not enough. It’s not worth admitting into your life, even as an option. You’ve read a review of it. That’s enough. Now, never think of it again for the rest of your life.
Venom Let There Be Carnage: OH MY GOOD GOD. I can’t explain how amazing this movie was I want to give the props to Andy Serkis he proved me wrong. He can direct a blockbuster so now I can’t wait to see what else he directs. Now big, big props to Tom Hardy for going full blown into comedy and it works so so well, same with Woody Harrelson he is Cletus Kasady. Now was Carnage worth the wait, your dang right. He was glorious the final fight was one of the best final fights I’ve seen in a minute, way better than the first one. Now I’m giving a spoiler warning here for the after credits scene but first the ranking Masterpiece. Ok now if you plan on watching this leave right now major spoilers ok ok. VENOM IS IN THE MCU, the multiverse opened up and Tom Holland’s Peter Parker, I am just frothing at the mouth for what’s next. Go watch this movie and support them now.

This is a comic book movie. You feel as if you are watching a comic book unfold with some of the ridiculous and ultimately stupid things that happen. The humor is passable and the action is good. Nothing all too special but I enjoyed my time with the film.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage made it onto the "New Gen" category of movies. It is utterly boring, childish, and the story is either made by a kid, or an AI. I'm 25 minute in the movie, and instead of watching I'm writing a review and playing chess. Venom just sprayed ketchup on Eddie...

Even worse than the first movie. THANKFULLY venom 2 was very short for a MCU movie. The comedy was atrocious, the acting just as bad, the miscasting even worse, and on and on. This was a turd.
Oh, and the story? Where was it? Venom was idiotic
