The movie is a giddy joy, hilariously gross, and earnestly heartfelt, with the kind of icky-gooey attention to detail that makes Selick’s movies such a visceral experience.

What a incredible movie. The voice acting, the animation, the screenplay (at least at most of the time) and the soundtrack are awesome. The partnership between Jordan Peele and Henry Selick was amazing in this movie.

The joint efforts of Jordan Peele and Henry Selick bring to life something devilish, out of this world and hard to imitate. When Guillermo del Toro said that the animated film genre should be seen as something more than just children's films, he was referring to films like this one.

For all the clever satirical touches and asides, the gorgeously intricate, wondrous stop-motion landscape is ultimately pure Selick, imbued with a fitting color scheme of swirling, eerily glowing greens and purples choreographed against a mischievous score by Bruno Coulais that effectively sets the mood for the film’s pre-Halloween arrival.

Selick and Peele operate a bit at cross purposes in Wendell & Wild. The genius visualist wants to haunt our dreams. The socially engaged provocateur wants to haunt our troubled collective realities. Whatever doesn’t quite mesh in their collaboration is easier to forgive when feasting upon such extraordinary sights.

Henry Selick is still at the top of his game. Jordan Peele's screenplay could've been more polished, but the story is very enjoyable, and the characters are very cool. Gorgeous animation and awesome needle drops. Netflix still delivers!

I loved the animation, can't say the same for the story. It never seemed to be able to find a genuinely centered approach. Nevertheless, its dark undertones are more than captivating enough to have fun and easily engage with its vision. It won't amaze anyone as a gem of the genre, but I doubt you won't be entertained by it.

You must exercise patience and caution since a selfish and obnoxious character who just thinks of himself is depicted throughout the narrative. As a result, the screenwriter and the on-duty team are already adept at developing characters in each of the movie's lead performers. Simply watching the movie will make you feel resentful of the boy there, although the plot and images are neatly presented. nice and respectable film I want you to observe. One more time, let's give thanks to the filmmakers for their meticulous planning, tireless labour, and excellent use of stop motion. then watch the movie as intended without stealing it.

What a bland movie. Story lackluster and voice acting a bit flat. Potential was there but there's something overtly hollow and missing from it. Animation was spectacular though.
