It is everything that family movies usually claim to be, but aren't: Delightful, funny, scary, exciting, and, most of all, a genuine work of imagination. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is honestly a brilliant movie and it's even a masterpiece and a half. The movie's got a brilliant story, brilliant cast, strong dialogue, brilliant emotions, great pacing, great cinematography, amazing set designs and lot's of great humour throughout.Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is honestly a brilliant movie and it's even a masterpiece and a half. one of the best movies ever made. Way above expectations for the 70's. Star wars 77 is another one ahead of its time as well.
