    Old Town Road (remix) 8/10 this is a fun track, beat is good and both lil nas x and Billy Ray Cyrus do an amazing job for a fun track.
    Panini 7.5/10 the beat is really weird but it works and nas x does a great job with it.
    F9mily (You & Me) 5/10 it has a nice beat but nothing interesting i just skipped after a minute. Kick It 5.5/10 the beat is great in some points but at most of the    Old Town Road (remix) 8/10 this is a fun track, beat is good and both lil nas x and Billy Ray Cyrus do an amazing job for a fun track.
    Panini 7.5/10 the beat is really weird but it works and nas x does a great job with it.
    F9mily (You & Me) 5/10 it has a nice beat but nothing interesting i just skipped after a minute.
    Kick It 5.5/10 the beat is great in some points but at most of the time it sucks and nas x autotune delivery doesn't work here.
    Rodeo 7/10 beat is good nas x does a good job and cardi does a good job too here but not as much as nas x.
    Bring U Down 4/10 not really interesting really made me want to skip.
    C7osure (You Like) 7/10 the beat is really good and nas x delivery is good.
    Old Town Road 7/10 this is almost good as the remix but Billy adds a lot.
    overall 6.4 a lot better then i expected and it is pretty good.    … Expand

    Breezy and catchy but directionless and unambitious, Lil Nas X's EP "7" is a promising start from the young magician although it fails to leave a lasting impression.

    This EP has a mixed variety of songs and I believe they all pretty good with the exception of Panini, it's just too short and not very lyrically impressive. My favorite track is C7osure which is just such an earworm and I love the way its structured. All in all this is a pretty solid EP from this artist.

    This album has its lows and highs, but overall I liked it a lot. Most of the songs are very catchy and I can see myself coming back to it later. Some of the songs I’m not to fond of. I don’t like the album as a whole, but the strengths of the album really stand out.

    With the release of old Town Road, you would think that Lil Nas X knows how to have fun. This EP shows that not only does he seem to take himself too seriously as an "artist", it also shows he doesn't know how to have fun on the track. He is not charismatic as we thought with the release of Old Town Road and its remix with country legend Billy Ray Cyrus. It's almost as if he is forcingWith the release of old Town Road, you would think that Lil Nas X knows how to have fun. This EP shows that not only does he seem to take himself too seriously as an "artist", it also shows he doesn't know how to have fun on the track. He is not charismatic as we thought with the release of Old Town Road and its remix with country legend Billy Ray Cyrus. It's almost as if he is forcing himself to be on his own songs. The production on most of the EP sounds decent but it's a cluster of sounds that don't really go together. He isn't lyrical so he doesn't fit in with the Kendrick, J cole type crowd. He doesn't have a presence on the track like a Drake or Nicki. It's hard to put him in a box which is a good thing and a bad thing. The EP seems to be geared towards the crowd that made Old town road successful: kids. These are kids bop level songs that aren't going to be enjoyable in a couple weeks. He doesn't have anything meaningful to say on any of these tracks. It is clear that this "rapper" is here today and gone tomorrow.… Expand

    Something that seems so obvious as to be dumb, like just using someone's song, is just evidence that it's a great idea. So great that you coulda done it yourself, but you didn't.

    This whole album sounds kinda dumb. That's why it's so great. Cause I still love it.

Lil Nas X has done the impossible, and delivered an EP with a successful blend of two thriving music genres, he definitely deserves much more credit than he's getting for this. The flaws in this album are obviously evident, but the greatness of this album outweighs those tiny flaws completely.     Lil Nas X's debut EP actually strikes hard in creating a bridge in the gap between rap and country music. The songs are fun, funny, and satisfying in Nas' case, in the sense that he made a strong effort and still has room to grow. 9/10 = A

    I absolutely loved the project and there is much more potential and growth that we have yet to even see yet. I think that Lil Nas X did a fantastic job at proving people that he is able to make music that is better than Old Town Road, because many people have doubted him. My favorite tracks on this EP are "Panini", "Kick It", and "Rodeo" with Cardi B.     Every song is good and interesting, it feels refreshing and true to himself. He did not force more country-rap down our throats for another hit which I respect, this may not be the most thought out album but he was pressured to release his music as many assumed he would become a "one hit wonder". Overall, his style of music I like, and I have added many of his songs to my playlist. ManyEvery song is good and interesting, it feels refreshing and true to himself.     It's a worthy follow up to old Town road and has a potential for getting no.1 debut album my personal favorites were c7osure , rodeo and obviously old Town road.

    I really don't know what to say about this EP. It's short yet still managed to bore me. With Old Town Road playing everywhere, you'd think this would be a decent EP with bops. Sorry, this is definitely not for me. If anyone here likes it, sure. Why not? But for me, it's like he didn't even put an effort to make this sound at least decent.     I mean yeah, it certainly has its flaws, it's so unique in its genre-bending manner. Its a fusion of rock, country, rap, and many other genre elements that provide for a very entertaining experience. Not just that, but Lil Nas X's delivery is not something you will find in modern music normally. Also, besides that, most of the songs on the EP are bangers anyway

    I admire how versatile he can be. The 7 may be a little bit of a bias seeing how ive heard my brother play old town road almost 100 times plus the radio. This artist has potential. Also with all the memes that get made out of him. He may be the next Lil Dicky.

    There are enough hooks in this bouquet of confusing-if-passable genre-hopping tracks to keep him on the path to future hits, but nothing comes remotely close to the lightning in a bottle of "Old Town Road"'s accidental perfection.
