  1. 'Aerial' towers over the vast majority of even this year's embarrassment of riches.
  2. Considering the length of her hiatus, this is a remarkable surprise.
  3. Aerial isn’t perfect, but it is magnificent.
  4. The songs don't always match the brouhaha surrounding their arrival, but there's no denying the exquisite craft on display.
  5. Even if Aerial doesn't set the world on fire, it's good to hear Kate Bush again, and to hear a record that sounds so organic and grounded.

'Aerial' has more than its share of static, but the highs are more than worth the lows. [12 Nov 2005, p.45]
  7. Too much of Aerial fades into a soft-focus background of soothing synthesizers, murmuring bass, and twittering birdsong.

Having only started listening to Kate about 4 years ago, it was cool to see a new album emerge abd hearing her voice with more modern day production.. Also, the thought that went into everything is staggering... even the artwork with double CD case where laundry turns to birds..... I'm glad I own this one... Expand

The words in her songs are so shocking, "King of the mountain" which is apparently about Elvis (he's never been king of the mountain, he probably couldn't have walked to the local shop). Mybe you need to understand the complex lyrics, and quite simply I don't and I don't want to. So Bad. Expand
