To the delicate folk of their earlier work has been added a robustness that takes the Brighton-based six-piece in the direction of Blur.

An album that could just see Hemming and company add some more fans in addition to their celebrity admirers.

Alone Aboard the Ark is an album that moves The Leisure Society forwards, outwards, and upwards, as a band that continues to grow into their story.

You can fully imagine The Leisure Society penning another hart-rendering minor classic sooner or later. But for the moment, the waiting must go on. [May 2013, p.88]

Loved the album however there are few low tracks. But the album itself is fresh and never get to boring me.
I need more from Leisure Society!
