Nov 19, 2022I will just say one thing: Natalie Mering is an artist with a very high IQ.

Nov 18, 2022This album is very listenable and gives the listener a great experience in terms of emotions and thoughts . The more I listen to her the more I fall in love with her songs and albums . Titanic Rising is really an amazing experience and this album gives me the same awesome feel . The album gets even better in its second part where it gets closer to the end .

Nov 20, 2022Beautiful album, but it's held back by the extravagance and perfection of Titanic Rising.
-
Mar 15, 2023An album somewhat close to his previous work, but still good. It touched the depths of my heart so much.

Jan 26, 2023And in the Darkness Hearts Aglow is already a formidable amalgam. It will be interesting to see where the third volume of the trilogy takes Weyes Blood.
-
Jan 3, 2023As these elegant tracks play out, mourning what we’re doing to ourselves and each other, there is just the merest disappointment that the sound of these songs is not as overwhelming as those of this album’s magnificently echoey predecessor, Titanic Rising. But quietude becomes these themes.

The WireDec 16, 2022Fans of retro-styled chamber pop should find the vibes here to be exquisite. That said, Mering cleverly balances the sumptuousness with a lyrical orientation that taps into a universal melancholy, cutting through the fog of nostalgia with a sober, contemporary sensibility.
