A very good album, served more than my expectations. When we listen to it, it makes us feels sensations, I loved that, What can I say about The Runaround? Extremely awesome, the best in album and one of the best of Sufjan's, he and Lowell did a great job in this record, congratulations!!

Sufjan recorded a sountrack record like instead of promised regular album long awaited from 2015. But even as instrumental this album sounds like a parody on Robert Miles`s last records....

Sufjan Stevens has shown to dominate the essence of several musical scopes, nevertheless, even if he is known for important contributions to the music industry, his intention to experiment has taken him through devious pats. "Aporia" is one of those cases in which the exploration is so intimate and personal that it only works for those who know the narrative in front of the intention. Stevens and Brams could know the movie they are composing this music, but unfortunately, without a visual and contextual guide, this is just one more soundtrack that stays short in the industry of original scores.

The album is quiet. The 21 tracks are short, slow and soothing.

An album can't wear the pants of Carpenter, Carlos, and Oldfield, all of whom crafted electronic epics built around unforgettable melodies and precise attention to detail when Stevens and Bram hop from one track to the next before any of their soundscapes journey beyond the front porch.

Aporia, by no means, is going to be considered an essential Sufjan album. However, for electronic obsessives and longtime followers, the record will feel like absolute candy.
