The doggedly retro approach ultimately muzzles the Noise COnspiracy's radical bite. [Nov 2005, p.136]

For all their winning ways they lack the songwriting dexterity of the truly great. [Sep 2004, p.119]

Sadly, The (I)NC have mistaken the ultra-safe sound of maximum R&B for the scream of revolution. [24 Jul 2004, p.49]
  6. It's as if they're trying to mimic Primal Scream but on ‘Let’s Make History’ they’re more like an under the weather INXS, and on ‘Armed Love’ you could even draw comparisons with Ocean Colour Scene. Eeeeeeeeee!

"Armed Love" is not nearly as good as their two previous albums: "New Morning, Changing Weather" and "Survival Sickness"; but T(I)NC has "Armed Love" is not nearly as good as their two previous albums: "New Morning, Changing Weather" and "Survival Sickness"; but T(I)NC has still put together a well performed album that is strong from top to bottom. There are no songs on this album that I skip through, which is a rare thing for albums these days, and I encourage everyone to check out this album, as well as T(I)NC's other albums. Full Review »
