Atlanta Millionaires Club is a masterpiece of claustrophobic intimacy that brings compelling immediacy to a time-tested story.

Her third album is a small masterpiece of restrained quirks; a slowburner that rearranges retro signifiers in a genuinely creative way. [Jun 2019, p.91]

Contradictions and duplicities abound. But Webster is not putting us on. For all of its facades, Atlanta Millionaires Club is a work of arresting candour.

An odd but beautiful and often remarkable album, Atlanta Millionaires Club has a depth of feeling that is difficult to shake off. Material that evidently emerged from a dark point in her life, this should represent the point Faye Webster steps out into the light.

Webster’s evolution from her self-titled record is a delight to witness. The songs are more direct and lyrically she’s become a remarkable observer of the little things that make us tick.

Atlanta Millionaires Club radiates a warm Muscle Shoals glow. ... Yet there's the unmistakable shape of '90s R&B and gloopy modern-day hip-hop moving beneath the more classicist surface. [Summer 2019, p.116]

Jumping from dusty folk to booming R&B might feel jarring, but Webster's versatile personality is the core of Atlanta Millionaires Club, and the entire album flows through its changes as naturally and pleasantly as a cool breeze in the depths of summer.

On Atlanta Millionaires Club, Faye Webster really delivers a wonderful album. At 31 minutes and 10 tracks, she takes you on a cruise of blissOn Atlanta Millionaires Club, Faye Webster really delivers a wonderful album. At 31 minutes and 10 tracks, she takes you on a cruise of bliss through back to back relaxing tracks with some top-notch production and instrumentation. The simplicity of some of the lyrics on these tracks may lead you to think that there's something more to be desired here. Yet when it feeds hand in hand with, in many cases these lovely guitar melodies, the lyrics come off as infectious and catchy each time around. As a result, many of the tracks on here are quite memorable. A really enjoyable listen, definitely worth your time.
