I think it's unfair to judge the album without a couple of listens or more! It has really grown on me and is one of my favourite albums this year now. It has great vocals, catchy rhythms and good guitar rifts. When the screaming comes in it isn't over used or too exaggerated and fits well with the music. Very good album!

Here Finch seem like a band unpausing rather than pressing into new territory, This is therefore a somewhat confused oblivion. [27 Sep 2014,p.53]

It's rad that Finch are back together sounding sharp, but the creative differences that led to this album being nearly a decade in the making remain apparent. [Oct 2014, p.100]

The music goes over old ground, with none of the inspiration found in Finch's material after-...Burn. Then a post-rock-influenced guitar break arrives and they start to gather momentum.
