Apr 20, 2020This latest project succeeds by further propelling the rapper’s soaring momentum even while in lockdown.
-
Aug 17, 2020Though “Blame It On Baby” is fairly short at only 33 and a half minutes, the bop of songs like the Nils & Wheezy produced “Talk About It” and the title track from DJ Kid and friends prove you can hit skip and land on something good anywhere.
-
Apr 28, 2020It's a sound we've come to know DaBaby handle on his own, but he invites industry peers like Quavo ("Pick Up"), Future ("Lightskin Shit"), YoungBoy Never Broke Again ("Jump") for the ride.

Apr 20, 2020For the most part, Blame it on Baby is classic DaBaby. Minimal bass stabs and toybox plinks and whirrs accent joyful sh–t talking. Songs generally clock in under three minutes. Songs generally clock in under three minutes. He sounds like he’s having a lot of fun, which is all the album needs to be. But as the industry dictates, doing one thing well enough to get popular is not enough to stay popular, so there are also songs on here that paint him as lovelorn and heartbroken. It’s not a great fit.
-

-
Apr 20, 2020Unlike the release of his second studio album, KIRK released last year, a major fraction of 'Blame It On Baby' lacks effort and even originality.

Apr 29, 2020A solid project taking a look into Dababy's life with his new found fame. Most features land. Some tracks are lazy, but still enjoyable.

Mar 30, 2021This album feels like that DaBaby just tried to enter in the mainstream market. Not a good album, but either not bad.
