    Lana narrates a story that empowers any fan that struggles with the reality of stifling ones true self for the sake of being 'accepted'. Blue Banisters, one might say, is an album Lana has been making her entire career, what with some of the songs recorded as long ago as 2013. Truly an experience, living the life of a living legend.

    the first album mostly produced by lana del rey brings us the chaos of ultraviolence and the song of paradise of honeymoon. i know you love norman **** rockwell, but a singer with a trinity composed of ultraviolence, honeymoon and blue banister has already reached all possible levels of excellence.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Lana del Rey nos invita con Blue Bannister al salon de su casa a tomar una limonada y contarnos sus mas intimos momentos. Nos confiesa las cosas mas íntimas y duras de escuchar de su carrera, pero lo hace con una sutileza tal que a oídos de noobsters del mundo Lana podría sonar simplón cuando, la verdad es que cada sonido del album esta pensado para reflejar la verdadera personalidad de la artista. No deja de lado experimentar con los ritmos y nos encontramos momentos tan míticos como "black bathing suit", en el que el coro se vuelve totalmente loco, la bateria suena alocada y a destiempo y el coro te esta gritando detras de los oidos; y es que en esta canción Lana se deja llevar por la rabia hacia aquellos que han osado estereotiparla, me atrevería a decir incluso que a juzgarla por su aspecto... La lírica se vuelve una parte esencial de este trabajo, momentos tan bien contados como la pista Blue Banister son difíciles de superar, pues te dibuja a golpe de letra un escenario en el que esa persona que le prometió todo no cumplió sus promesas pero gracias a Dios, sus hermanas, sus amigas están ahí para desdibujar las barandillas de ese triste azul a colores como el verde, pero el dolor latente entre mezclado con la esperanza crean esos tonos grisáceos a los que hace referencia. Personalmente mi tema preferido es sin duda alguna Violet for Roses, es un statement en toda regla a la idea de no dejar que nada ni nadie cambie tu esencia, lo que te hace original y unico, no importa si esas cosas parecen las mas simples, son tuyas y punto y nadie tiene el derecho a cambiarlas. Podria seguir y hacer una cirugía improvisada de cada tema pero la verdad es que lo que más me apetece ahora mismo es seguir viendo la lluvia caer mientras escucho el álbum y pienso en las mil maneras en las que Lana mandaría a Kevin a tomar por saco (f..ck u Kevin).… Expand

    Her best after NFR!, so beautiful and touching. Loved both new and old songs. Living Legend, Aracadua and Violets for Roses are my favorites. 10/10

    i can say i felt myself inside her songs, it’s all so intimate that i ended up looking at my own fears, my own angry, forgiveness and happiness. this album is pure, honest, kind and unforgettable poetry. everybody should say thank you to lana.

    this album is filled with amazing vocals and beautiful melodies. Dealer, Living Legend, and Beautiful stick out to me and are already some of my favorite songs.

    Incredible experience from first listen. Lana takes you into a whole new world with this piece of art that she has created. The music is not only incredible from first listen, but gets better with every listen.

She chose some of her best unreleased work and combined it with fresh mixes, creating a perfectly balanced autumn record. Tracks such as Dealer, Thunder, Living Legend, If you lie down with me and Wildflower Wildfire definitely stand out andOnce again, Lana proved her songwriting is out of this world.     A skipless masterpiece which lets you dive inside all your dreams while enjoying the divine music lana makes. Truly solidifying her talent and proving that she knows what’s she’s doing. A true taletn of our generation,no one like her.

    brilliant, stunning. songwriting and production beautiful as always! best songs are violets for roses, text book, if you lie down with me, thunder and dealer, the vocals!!! the production makes me feel like im levitating in the sky on a jazzy dreamy night. absoluetly stunning, she outdid herself with this album.

    Deeply personable. A true piano album. Cinematic. Enigmatic. Beautiful keys. Standouts include 'black bathing suit', 'thunder', 'Nectar of the gods' and 'dealer'. My mind wonders what a hybrid chemtrails and bannisters could have yeilded.

    it's so good, I find it different from all the other lana del rey albums this one is different vocally her lyrics here are what we've seen before.     While the days of Born to Die have long since passed, Lana Del Rey is still seeking paradise, closer now than ever as she turns her search inward, seemingly recognizing that paradise is ultimately found within the best of oneself. Still, if there is indeed a physical Arcadia to be revealed, it has not emerged in its entirety on Blue Banisters. That said, its intoxicating hints are enough to keep seekers thirsty.
