    Despite heralding a heavy, interesting sound, "Cavalier Youth" is arguably the worst album You Me At Six have released yet, its dull, forgettable lyrics and complete lack of direction almost makes it a pain to listen to.

    They’re ultimately relatable and endearing enough, even though the most jaded of listeners will still roll their eyes at the smarmy nostalgia (“Too Young To Feel This Old”) and new-era YOLO sentimentality.

    It's unsurprising that this album is filled to the brim of arena-sized singalong choruses--which will undoubtedly be sung to the rafters by delirious teenage fans--but unfortunately, they sound all too familiar.
