The experimental-ness of this album is just great. Alot of these tracks make use of many obscure sounds and somehow make them just very great. like on the track "Get Up" the songs whole beat is just an alarm clock going off and somehow, they managed to make it sound good. Daveed's rapping is absolutely FIRE aswell.

Fav tracks: Body & Blood, Work work, Summertime, Taking off, Get Up, Or

This is a good hip hop album. Clipping once again pushes the boundaries for what is acceptable in hip hop music, however one minor complaint is that it sounds like a watered down version of their previous album.

Here are some of the reasons that this is a 10:
1)Daveed diggs is an amazing mc. His flow is great he goes from steady to fast seemingly effortlessly.
2)There are some really interesting stories on this album (most notably body & blood and story 2) 3)It stays true to hip hop while at the same time experimenting with beats using everyday sounds 4)all the videos from this are really

This is a superb and creative rap album, with each track having its own unique and interesting production. The lyrics are good, and the story all culminates in the Ends track, which is stunning. Must listen.

This has been the best experimental hip hop album I have ever listened to. This album pushed the envelope further than any artist in hip hop can. This is definitely recommended.

I don't think any of the tracks here are a disappointment at all, and even though each of them has a different mood or a different sound, they're all brought together by the incredible noisy beats and Daveed's sick rapid flow.

That is my favorite verse from the whole album, it's from 'Work Work'
These lyrics are very abstract and paint a vivid picture of a drug deal in my mind.

Took me a couple of listens to really like this one. Not as accessible as Midcity, but a great record if you like noise-hip hop. Daveed Diggs has a crazy fast flow, and the production is all over the place, but pretty detailed and layered. My only complaint is that in a few tracks, the production is a little too minimalist.

A very dope and sick hip-hop record, where the trio push the boundaries of hip-hop even further sonically. A great follow up from Midcity.

    MUST HEAR TRACKS:
    INTRO
    BODY & BLOOD
WORK WORK (FT. COCO PISTOL CREE)
    TAKING OFF
    DREAM
    STORY 2
    DOMINOS
    ENDS

    MUST AVOID TRACKS:
    SUMMERTIME (FT. KING T)

Crazy production, however some times it seemed a bit too far fetched. Featured artist tended to lack in quality, however clipping made up for this through a gripping story line and seamless transitions between songs. Overall my First and only listen was pleasurable.

CLPPNG is the work of hip hop auteurs delivering the shock of the new. [Jul 2014, p.88]

Never does this album sound more genuine than when it's low-key, because it's then that Clipping. foregoes the satire--the very lifeblood that runs through CLPPNG's veins.

The record lacks vision, direction, clarity.
