    Honestly a pretty solid project, I understand why some people could find this project disappointing due to some of the lack of effort on some of these tracks but I enjoyed most of the tracks besides Black Card with one of the worst Rocky verses in recent memory. Just keep in mind while you listen to this project that this is Cozy Tapes and it's not meant to take too seriously.     This project felt more like a mixtape than an album. Tracks such as Bahamas, RAF, Please Shut Up, Blowin' Minds to me were the stand outs of the album. One negative I have is the over use of Playboi Carti, I feel he's on too many tracks and derails some of the momentum. I prefer this edition over the first one.

    Cozy Tapes Vol. 2 has a loose family vibe. One gets the sense that almost anyonewho dropped by the studio as they were recording had the chance to make the album. As such, the album’s not a show of force, it’s a party."

    While Vol. 2 provides instrumentation that commands each track. Most of the beats consist of rattling snares and melodic 808 drums that drive a uniform basis without sounding totally identical.

    Where A$AP Mob’s early releases were guided by a clear vision and unifying aesthetic, everyone here is content to follow rap’s reigning trends rather than lead them, a surprising capitulation from what was once New York’s most ambitious hip-hop crew.

    With the sheer amount of voices that casually pop up on its 17 tracks--the cohesive vibe and swaggering passion make it a fun listen for fans of any of the two-dozen artists showing off their skills.
