The effort put into creating the dark atmosphere is gratuitous, but in the context of the album it works perfectly. Add to this the fact that every song carries a killer hook and you have one of the must-hear albums of the year.

Creep On Creepin' On is the sound of Timber Timbre fully coming into its own, with romance and strangeness to spare.

The way this band turns well-used Americana sounds into something frightening is impressive. It's like hearing a loved one's voice when you know that you're alone, scarier in its way than any unfamiliar sound.

After listening to the Creep On Creepin' On, it's recommended that the listeners get some as well--the constant bleakness and nightmare-inducing weirdness warrant some immediate remedy.

Also... Folk trio? Mr. Summary, maybe Dead-Folk trio, but certainly not Folk trio.
