Young, sexy, and chic, Dark Red is an album that undeniably is made for this moment, blurring the lines among past, present, and future in a way that could appeal to both EDM neophytes and history-obsessed nerds.

The resulting album successfully fleshes out Shlohmo's previous sound into his most accomplished work so far, and ultimately manages to find hope in darkness.

You could argue that Dark Red is a bit samey in places, but that's kind of the point.

Shlohmo creates reverential moments out of human gloom, and does so with a level of execution that invites multiple listens while defying comparisons, too.

With Dark Red, Shlohmo channels his pain into scintillating electronic exploits that riff off his emotions but don’t lodge.

And I made tatoo on my hand with it's main symbol - the dark black rose for remeber my emotions and a life compass.
This album is very dark and sad, serious and difficult. If you want to get into all the hard stuff, this album will be a great guide and soundtrack for it

It had a lot of strong tracks, such as Meet Ur Maker, Emerge From Smoke, and Slow Descent.
