    As a piece of work, Dead Start Program retains an overriding feeling of clinical detachment as each song is imbued with a distinctively mechanized edge. Nevertheless, it is a hugely enjoyable and engaging example of an artist energised by his own self-set limitations.

    Tejada being Tejada, the machines aren't done away with entirely. Amid the orchestral strings and irregular drums you'll hear the rich melodic layers and electronic processing that have long been Tejada hallmarks. His stamp is all over this typically classy if unsurprising album.

    In general, on the new album you are waiting for 50 minutes of pronounced synthtic sound, which is quite fascinating is one-on-one.
