    Literally one of the best albums i’ve ever heard. From the creativity, lyrics and vocals to the production, mixing, mastering. This album has a very earthy feeling to it and it’s amazingly cohesive without being boring or repetitive.

    This album is a volcano erupting and Caroline is giving us a bird's eye view of the whole ordeal, whilst her lyrics serve as the narration through the whole journey, always synergizing with the soundscape.

Not like Polachek, the majority of artists nowadays can't include such diversity and experiments in an album and still sound so cohesive and creative like her.     Well that’s for sure a trip, and for her island she took us indeed, fresh and sunny as dark and gloomy, her vocals clear as water, the siren gave us the album of the year.

    Fabulous album. Every song is perfect. This album was much more instant for me than Pang, which felt underwhelming upon release. Desire is everything that I wanted and more from Caroline.

    This album is pure artistry. This is what every music artist should be striving to make. This is groundbreaking art pop music that is just the highest of quality you can get. The production throughout the album is so unique and intriguing. Caroline's vocals are angelic and just really top off what is a masterpiece of an album.

    It's a great album, it's like I'm going to heaven listening to it. It is clear that Caroline has put a lot of effort and work into creating such a beautiful masterpiece. All the singles released before the album impressed me with their creativity, especially Billions, which became a wonderful closing track.

Nesse álbum ela cria uma imersão. Você é apresentado ao universo do álbum com a faixa de abertura, segue dentro da cabeça dela e depois volta para a realidade com a faixa que encerra. Não é fácil identificar uma estrutura nas músicas, pelo menos não na maneira mais comum que conhecemos, mas ele e tão confortável e limpo de ouvir que você não quer sair dali. Destaque também para os visuais incríveis dessa era, e aqui eu destaco a imagens que ela foi divulgando. Os clipes, claros, são bem mais simples, ainda mais em se tratando de uma artista que provavelmente não tem tanto recurso como intérpretes do mainstream.
    É um trabalho milimetricamente pensado, nada aqui é colocado aleatoriamente, e pela primeira vez em 9 anos (isso aconteceu antes com o Goddess da BANKS) eu dou like em todas as faixas de um álbum. I got to see her live last year and it was one of the most magical moments of my year. I'm so happy with this new album and I will definitely join her on her island.     Desire, i want to turn into you is a solid album and beautifull journey. Not ethereal or experimental as Pang, it feels more down to earth, realistic/rational and less fantasy-oriented and thats not a bad thing.

    I find it somewhat hard to give 10/10 reviews too often because it takes away from the importance of a perfect review, but this album could very well be a 10/10 album. The vocals, the production, the singles, the visuals, all perfectly executed. Standout tracks: I Believe, Fly To You, Billions.

    Amazing follow up to her debut album! This was the first album of the year I was excited for and I was so immersed and impressed. The range of Caroline's voice is phenomenal! I enjoyed the singles as she released them but I enjoyed them even more within the context of the album! Great job, great album, best of the year so far

    Probably the best pop album in the last few years! As a big fan of Caroline's work, I expected something amazing from this album and my expectations were met. The album never ceases to amaze you and keeps your attention throughout the listening. Extremely inventive melodies, cosmic bangers and melancholic lyrics make this album the magnum opus of Polachek's career

    First of all, what an improvement from her last album. Caroline's vocals and the production are both top tier. This album blew my mind. Personal favorites are Pretty In Possible, Crude Drawing Of An Angel, I Believe, Blood And Butter, Butterfly Net & Billions.

    The title of Caroline Polachek's best record is a confession. It's unashamed, it's as intentional as it is chaotic but overall it is indulgent. Desire isn't enough to feel but is a blaze that transforms rather than destroy. Indicative of this record's aim to take love, infatuation and desire to their rabid limits

    There are 2 amazing tracks on this album: it will be a crime if I Believe is not a major hit. Sunset is also fantastic, Bunny is A Rider and Smoke are both memorable. It is a decent 'album' in that the material is consistent but much of the rest is ultimately forgettable, though beautifully constructed and produced. Grimes and Dido are wasted here.     Both Welcome to My Island and I Believe are true pop bangers, and Smoke has an arrestingly powerful bassline that melds beautifully with her shimmering voice. Still, there are enough missteps for my palate that keep this squarely in the “just fine” column and keep me scratching my head about its overall reception.
