    "Devil's Night" is very varied album, but I think it is an album where the hits, such as "Purple Pills" were sometimes overshadowed by the hardcore rhymes in some of the later songs. It seemed a bit too aggresive at times, especially on "Girls", but the fresh styles alone were enough to warrant a 10.

    Love the album, very awesome beats, eminem did a phenominal job with his band.

    One of the best rap CDs ever. Best tracks: American Psycho, Pimp Like Me, Girls, Blow My Buzz, and Nasty Mind. The new album, "D12 World" isn't even on the same wavelength!

    Great debut album from D12, clever, funny, aggressive, sometimes a bit serious, great performance by all the members and an A+ production, this album has a lot going for it. Purple pills, Fight music and Revelation are definitely the album's best songs.

    i think they went for something new and came up with an cool cd taking a little of pink floyds the wall on revelation even in the beginning they tell you what awaits you

    A fairly dark album from the Detroit group. Fight Music, Revelation, Blow My Buzz, Ain't Nuttin But Music, American Psycho, Devil's Night and Purple Pills are stand-out tracks personally. That's the majority of the album right there, it's a definite must-have for Eminem fans, as it not only includes him, but it incorporates much of his humour and style.

    But where there is light, there is also shadow. Em is the only one who is really inventive. The production of Dre and Eminem perfectly emphasizes the funky and evil style, making D12 Detroit's most wanted since "Detroit's Most Wanted".

    But where there is light, there is also shadow. Em is the only one who is really inventive. Musically and sonically "Devil's Night" is far from being as innovative as the collective member's solo projects and songs like "Nasty Mind" are really sagging. But despite that, if you love hip hop, you'll love "Devil's Night".

    Overall good album. Some good tracks on here, Shit Can Happen, Pistol Pistol, Ain't Nuttin But Music, Fight Music, Putple Pills, Instigator, Devil's Night, American Psycho....

    As challenging as it may be for many to stomach the constant and incredibly explicit sex, violence, and drug references, there is a stunning album lurking beneath that deserves recognition.

    Devils Night is nothing special, and it's only saved from the slush pile by Eminem's inventive, cutting-edge raps and Dr. Dre's so-funky-it's-evil production.
