An amazing classic album, its because i grew up with music like this that i have no respect for todays upcoming artist. Rza combined awesome production with unmatched lyrics that nobody else has these days. People who don't like this album are the type who will prefer simple minded hip-hop. But for real hip-hop heads, an album for the ages.

After a strong start, the album seems to lose itself somewhat before the progressively developing and stuttering tone rises triumphantly towards some kind of self actualization plot, with a finale that gives listeners a hint at what the long promised and never released The Cure album might have sounded like. The tracks Show U Love, Do You, Glocko Pop, Must be Bobby, La Rhumba, Brooklyn Babies, Shady, Righteous Way, Build Strong and the Sickness are definite standouts. Expand

I thought that the "Rza's" "Bobby Dighital" was pathetic excuse for a "Hip Hop" album, i wish i hadn't spent my $9.00 on it!!

Lacks some of the cocksure oomph of his debut, though RZA does try to broaden his sonic palette. [Aug/Sep 2001, p.128]
  2. At best, these are semi-finished rejects from 'The W'...
  3. But lacking the original RZA's sense of purpose and ability to evoke top performances from his supporting crew, Digital comes off as a lark.
