    A joyous and undeniably fun album. Jonas has developed into a deeply self-aware and confident performer whose brightly hued and clever musical taste is on display throughout DNCE.

    Thankfully, the group ultimately finds its groove with retro, funk-heavy tracks like new single “Body Moves” and “Blown,” which is about exactly what you imagine it is. It’s better for the band—and everyone else--when they don’t overthink it.

    DNCE's greatest strength is never taking themselves too seriously--an underrated quality in pop music--and in the end, they find that of all the throwback funk, R&B and bubblegum sounds they try on, "fun" is ultimately the genre they have completely mastered.

They are catchy, they sound free and careless and you really enjoy listening to this album. After a while it can become weird because it all seems the same but once you give it a proper shot you might actually end up loving it. And then there's Joe and his voice. Because that it just golden. I really like how he plays with it, how confident he is. He can sell it. His range is incredible and the voice definitely is the best thing this band has to offer.… Collapse
