Oct 23, 2020Don't Shy Away is ultimately as gratifying as it is ambitious. Brian Eno was right: Loma are the real deal.
-
Nov 4, 2020Inward-looking, mysterious, and awash in found sounds, bucolic electronics, and naturalistic imagery, Don't Shy Away is both inexplicable and compelling, and is easily Loma's most rewarding outing to date.

Oct 23, 2020To anyone enamored with the effortless elegance of Loma’s debut, some of Don’t Shy Away’s more adventurous and synth-heavy production may feel a little jarring. -
Oct 23, 2020A likable record that is enjoyable on first listen and warrants repeated plays despite its few minor flaws. [Aug - Oct 2020, p.87]
