Album number 3 is a lovely collection of the jangle pop we've come to expect from RBCF. It's hard to fault the record apart from the fact it doesn't say much new. If your already on board you will enjoy, if this is your introduction to the band you'll likely be prompted to check out whats gone before. Well put together guitar pop that radiates sunshine. Excellent record in every respect. Lyrics have got sharper, tunes more memorable and guitars reach Television-like heights of invention. Also, best rhythm section in rock at the moment.

Isn't quite as transportingly charming as their past couple. [Jun 2022, p.74]

By weaving in and out of broader and more intimate concerns, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever create an album with a wide scope that ties together. The rooms might be endless, but they make sense as a single structure.

After 11 tracks, this return feels well-earned, but it’s equally refreshing to know the next song we hear from Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever might not be so predictable.
