It's a testament to his vision and do-it-all ability that he can work with roughly 50 fellow producers and guest artists and line up the results for an hour-long set with tracks that flow forth like they're being decanted.

The rapper fails to assert creative delineation over this sprawling mesh of music. That said, ‘Featuring’ is peppered with career highs.

There’s sure to be filler across 25-tracks. However, when Ty is at his best, he soars vocally and continues to prove that he is both a hook and melody juggernaut.

Yet another indication that Ty is going from strength to strength.

Featuring cements his legacy as a singular, eminent artist — a point he has made again and again and again, but he still sounds so good proving it.

Featuring Ty Dolla $ign has the air of a haphazard playlist. Griffin is still a formidable center of gravity for a small army of eager collaborators, but the final product wants for some necessary fine-tuning.

He’s a fine producer, a middling singer, and a very forgettable lyricist. The album’s title banks on his name being the sole draw, but if it has been titled “Featuring Kanye West, Quavo, Kid Cudi, Young Thug, Big Sean and Future” it would be a whole lot more accurate.

more like 6.5 but there isn't an option for that. a lot of the songs were typical ty sounding beats which doesn't necessarily mean its a badmore like 6.5 but there isn't an option for that. a lot of the songs were typical ty sounding beats which doesn't necessarily mean its a bad thing but he approaches sounds like a random guitar riff. songs like Temptations, track 6 and universe stood out the most out of this 25 song album. a big list of features but barely any quality coming out is just a waste of listening time.
