The R&B feel with the overall use of trap inspired beats make it such a good album. Yes, it is true that there are barely any memorable songs in this album, but the fact that the girls gave this their blood sweat and tears show how dedicated they are to this band. Plus, the R&B feel is where they fit the most and they nailed it in this album.

The fact that Fifth Harmony showed their best and put their feelings into making an album even with the split of what people called their "most important member" reflects how they are able to do much things without Camila (and in the other side, she showed it as well with her solo songs like Havana, I have Questions, etc.) There is no doubt that in both sides they are doing amazing jobs.
Back with Fifth Harmony, being more free with themselves and being able to express more of the way they feel it's important, and I'm glad they could get it. For me, this is their best album.

Their best album, improved a lot and with perfect harmonies showing the potencial of the group. The four of them shine and its bright. Surprises as better productions and lyrics are all over the place not being only the usual pop.

I bought "Fifth Harmony" yesterday along with the new album ''Camila" by the former integrande of the group, and frankly now I can understand why she left. This album is kind of well produce but it lack hard in lyrics. It's not a bad album, but it's certainly an album that I would not listen again. But at least in older albuns the songs had a feminine empowerment messege, now most are just very sexual or average (i have nothing against this, is just not my style). The most annoying thing is: They all are vary talented but the style of the songs never showcase the potential that they can achive, it's really a shame. Expand

I am very surprised at the performance of the girls. They made the BEST career album. "Don't Say You Love Me" and "Deliver" are definitely their best quality songs. They honored the band's name and gave the HARMONY show. For those who thought that after leaving a member they would fail, they are mistaken, they were BETTER. CONGRATS, H4RMONY!

Each of the women's voices are very distinct and this is highlighted in the album's most attention grabbing tracks - "Deliver", an ode to a woman's ability to do just that; "Lonely Night", an experimental track that exudes attitude worthy of a place on the radio; and the album's centerpiece "Don't Say You Love Me", a track encrusted with grand vocals and vulnerability that will leave anyone with a tear or two (this song could definitely be a global hit if given the chance, and even a Grammy if the Academy finally pays attention to girl groups). The group's next single, "He Like That" is ear candy for anybody that can appreciate a good pop song that doesn't try to be something it's not. Fifth Harmony understand their strengths and weaknesses and accurately plays their cards right. A ten track album might be easy to ignore, but with bombastic production and themes that can transcend time, "Fifth Harmony" has earned a place in pop culture and a permanent place in the greatest girl group albums of all time. - V.N. We can hear all of their voices (finally) without one overstepping the others, we have real harmonies (finally) and they all have their shining moment on songs that are very well produced, which mostly are, a feel-good kinda music but subtly tells you a story, one of a relationship that is slowly failing: starting on 'Down' and 'He Like That' with the honeymoon phase of it, 'Sauced Up' being the drunk love out of it, Make You Mad and the jewel of this self-titled album 'Deliver' on reaffirmation, the very different but very good 'Lonely Night' is realizating that things are... not going very well, you can hear it on a very well put together midtempo ballad 'Don't Say You Love Me' the letting go, incredible urban sounds 'Angel' sets off the famous 'I wasn't the one in wrong', on the 9th track you have them acknowledging their 'messiness' and dissing Trump on a cute closure. It's definitely a very cohesive body of work which we haven't had in pop for a while, and this being the first time they engage creatively it's very promising and deserves it your attention, buy it and stream. #ForaTemer #ForaTrump Expand

They made an ALBUM. the best of their career, It showcases all of the voices and the r&b's tones are doing them. it's a more mature sound and fits perfectly. We can finally see Dinah doing her thing, she is the best vocalist and deserved the spotlight. They all slayed!

This is so generic, their past album sounds better than this one. I'm disappointed.

I found this album to be the blandest of the three they've released thus far. It felt rushed and incohesive. The vocals were phenomenal, but unfortunately not enough to drive this disconnected mess to be anything more than a weak come back that could have waited another several months. 10 songs is a short list and yet these managed to drag on for what felt like an eternity. Honestly the album kinda sucks, the songs ain't memorable and the integrants voices are not as strong or memorable enough, even though Jauregui has shown some potential. Their debut album, Reflection, and the second album, 7/27, are way better than the third album. Without Cabello, the group seems to be weak and ruined.

Tragic, so generic and lackluster. Disappointing album compared to their earlier ones.

This album may as well be the worst album of 2017. Full of generic R&B influenced pop tracks with zero meaning to them. Very disappointing knowing that their previous albums are really good. I didn't know a loss of a band member could lead to loss or originality.

a real rubbish this album. how did these four girls have the courage to make such an awful and awful quality album? generic songs and 'down' is a copy of 'work from home'

Um álbum de 10 músicas onde apenas 3 tem possibilidades para ser single é extremamente decepcionante. Não superou o 7/27.

This is a mixture of soft and eccentric rhythms that are concentrated in the harmonic dance that the 4 former members have, after the departure of camila pelo we all imagined that they would focus on an album of hints but it was just the opposite, congratulations for their album so personal and full of good rhythms.

this album sure is cohesive but it lacks lyrics and overall likeability, there's only a couple of tracks i would give a second listen, there aren't really any stand outs.
i've seen that fifth harmony works better as a four-piece group, but strangely this didn't reflect on the music or in the lyrics.

Fifth Harmony’s self-titled album matures—but loses its mainstream charm—as the girl group becomes a quartet. It lacks likability and for most tracks, the lyrical content and idea is repetitive; it felt like they put more attention to the composition than the writing. But this album is their most cohesive yet.

I expected them to deliver bc they're 4 piece now. They sound bland and too bubblegum for me. The songs have 0 emotions portrayed. Just no.

WOW! This album is honestly amazing. This album has reinvention written all over it. Many would seem skeptical about how Fifth Harmony would return from the amazing 7/27 and losing Camila Cabello (which wasn't the worst thing). However the girls proved us wrong with this R&B masterpiece. The best tracks on this album are definitely Down, He Like That, Don't Say You Love Me and Angel.

As a fan of both Reflection & 7/27, I anticipated the release of 'Fifth Harmony'. There's some gems within the album such as DSYLM & He Like That but compare this to the previous releases and it's quite a disappointment. There's no instant stand outs such as Worth It or Work From Home. Appreciate they wrote on this album though.

Generic album, no identity, empty lyrics and only a couple of good/average songs. The biggest disappointment of the year for me by far, I expected more quality.

    This album is kind of a letdown. 4/10 Songs = NO ; 3/10 = I guess, OK ; 3/10 = Pretty good

1 & 2 - Down and He Like That are bad and I don't understand why they would even think they were OK songs and make them SINGLES!! WHY?!! I don't even understand how this two songs end up on this album, the lyrics are in fact "stupid dumb" and someone need to keep "holding me down" before I fight

3 - Sauced up : ????????? Who wrote this song?! lock them up and throw away the key. Dinah on damage control
4 - Make you mad : Ok song I guess
5 - Deliver : The second best song, cool beat. Ally tone is sometimes annoying.
6- Lonely night : Cute song but again Ally. Thank god for Dinah !!!!!
7 - Don't say you love me: Yes for the Lyrics!!
8 - Angel : TG for Dinah on the chorus again, lyrics are really basic and repetitive. Normani chorus vocals are kind of bad 1 :53 " But you was wrong, oh yeah...." and they keep that!!!!!
9 - Messy : Maybe the best song of the album if you forgive the fact that the chorus is maybe half of the song
10 - Bridges : Good beginning but after that the lyrics and melodies EWWW!! Again who wrote this? I was done with this song halfway through.

    Overall thoughts:
Dinah is the best element of the group and save this album. They should have choose Messy and Deliver for singles. The album is really short (10 tracks) and they're no HIT song. Some ok and good song but nothing to make a real statement. Forgettable album for me and unfortunately I think that it's gonna be their last album because this can't do too well on the charts.

I give 'Fifth Harmony' a 10 ! It's definetely their best album, I'm glad they finally got to write their own songs, the results is amazing ! These ladies have grown so much and impressed me so much. Lots of VERY GOOD songs on this album such as 'Don't Say You Love Me' and 'Bridges'. I bought this album and I highly recommend to everyone to do the same !

El álbum es muy variado, se nota mucha diferencia a como eran antes las 5, ahora están mostrando el otro lado de la moneda, donde sin Camila pueden seguir haciendo buena música, el álbum me gustó demasiado.

Fifth Harmony heralds a brand new era of their music career with their self-titled album, reaching new heights with their artistic growth both sonically and lyrically. Standouts include Don't Say You Love Me, Angel, Lonely Night, Deliver and Bridges. 10/10

Definitivamente, Fifth Harmony é o melhor album do girlgroup.

Their best album by far. It's full of amazing vocals, instrumental, high notes and harmonies, it's worth giving a listen. "Don't say you love me" it's probably the best record i have ever listened by them.

best album of them! All of them could have their deserved place in each song. They could show their voices for real, not like a fight for who sings better. They are very happy in this era and it's gonna be the best of all. For those who used to say they didn't have harmony, you can sit down now. 5H3 is full of harmonies (sauced up sent kisses). The majority of its ten tracks resemble either retreads of their former glories or listless attempts at Spotify-friendly R&B which rob them of any identity whatsoever.

Fifth Harmony isn’t offensively bad, in fact, it sits quite comfortably with many other acts dominating the charts at the moment. But it’s too safe, too by-the-numbers, too beige to stand up to even Fifth Harmony’s previous work, which carried more lyrical and musical heft.

A workmanlike pop album, vocally immaculate and sonically au courant, but seldom more than functional.
