Everything clicks into place right from the start and the emotion, the songcraft, and the power hooks never let up. Comet Gain may have been around a long, long time, but they have never felt as alive or as vital as they do on this amazing and important album.

Fireraiser Forever! is an often galvanizing collection. Feck and Evans cast an acerbic but humane look at contemporary life and the band is in fine form. Their indie garage sound is nothing new but fans of this kind of scrappy raw sound will find plenty to like.

Every song here is a miniature gem of its kind. [Nov 2019, p.22]

The band became more fuzzy and loud for their 'comeback' albums in the 2000s: Realistes and Howl of the Lonely Crowd. And lastly, their 2014 record, Paperback Ghosts played with acoustics a little more and sounds a little more like a coffee shop in spots. All this leads to their most clear record to date: Fireraisers Forever!
