For All My Sisters is a thoroughly enjoyable record even if taken only at face value, but more importantly, it’s a potent reminder of just how crucial The Cribs really are.

For everything that's come before, For All My Sisters feels like another step up. [Mar 2015, p.71]

As exciting as the promise of the band going full Albini is, For All My Sisters shows that a cleaned-up Cribs can also be pretty thrilling.

For All My Sisters finds the Wakefield indie trio pushing their gleefully ramshackle sound towards poppier parameters.

The Cribs have managed to interpret the notion of 'pop music' into an often-spectacular record.

There’s a fresh energy and swagger about the Jarmans now, helped in no small way by producer Ric Ocasek.

It really is an indie-pop romp to die for. [Apr 2015, p.105]

A classic, if often over-familiar Cribs album then, but the door is open for the forthcoming Steve Albini-produced ‘punk one’ to be the death-or-glory game-changer.

Opener Finally Free is the instant crowd pleaser, but slow-burners Diamond Girl and Pink Snow find them in ambitious new album rock territory. [Jun 2015, p.89]

A couple tracks too long, one or two tracks too bland but overall, it's another album from The Cribs that's more than worth a couple listens.

The band's insistence on shouty, over-the-top moments like 'Pacific Time' or 'Mr. Wrong' still grates, but this is offset by the likes of 'City Storms', 'Summer Of Chances' and 'Different Angles', which possess some of the most urgent pop hooks and catchy anthemic choruses The Cribs have ever delivered.

For All My Sisters is a scruffy, buzzy and very hooky guitar album that doesn’t quite scan as "punk" or "indie".

But it just seems a bit lackluster and a few too many similar drum beats and melodies in comparison to other cribs album. I like that the cribs have an exploratory poppy angle to them, however, i believe a more alternative rock stance is their real forte. I don't think this album really compares with their previous e.g. "The New Fellas" & "Men's needs, women's needs, whatever" if i'm honest with you.

It's alright, nothing to shout about.
