You'll find much to love on Global. [May 2015, p.102]

No doubt delightful for existing Rundgren fans, you deserve a medal if, as an uninitiated listener, you make it out of Global feeling inspired like never before.

Todd is exploring all musical sources right now, so you get EDM-influenced opener "Evrybody", energetic and anthemic, but you also get gorgeous songs like "Soothe"...Todd can write incredible hooks, but here he explores a different way to express his muse...listen three times in a row and you will be hooked. It is a crime that he is so overlooked... Expand

He even throws in a millennial whoop without being obnoxious about it. The result is his most commercial album since the early seventies. The lyrics are smart, yet use the language of dance music to make their point. The music is largely electronic because Todd's studio is now a laptop, but every now and then the Todd of old reappears, just to remind you he was great then and remains so. Expand
