    If there was any doubt in the past about Megan Thee Stallion's talent and versatility, well this album just shuts down all those thoughts. At first it seems a little incoherent as an album, with a huge diversity of sounds and rhythms one song after the other, but I think that's exactly what makes "Good News" a huge album. Every song shows that Megan is taking her artisrty seriously andIf there was any doubt in the past about Megan Thee Stallion's talent and versatility, well this album just shuts down all those thoughts. At first it seems a little incoherent as an album, with a huge diversity of sounds and rhythms one song after the other, but I think that's exactly what makes "Good News" a huge album. Every song shows that Megan is taking her artisrty seriously and that no matter the sound, she can kill it and give whack, amazing verses without falling repeating herself over and over again (like many other rappers). This album (like all her past projects) is a huge reassurance of her power in music overall.… Expand

    Apesar de eu estar esperanod muito mais, o álbum cumpre com o estilo da Meg e tudo que ela vem criando. O álbum é bem dançante e tudo nele me lembra a Megan, além de ninguém menos do que Beyoncé estar nele, já é um grande motivo pra dar 10 pra isso.

Trazendo uma produção digna dos clássicos dos anos 90 com uma cara contemporânea com as composições de Megan.

    es buenísimo, un álbum muy genérico pero muy bueno para ser rap, buenos ritmos y, a pesar de tóner las mejores letras del rap, sigue superando por mucho a los raperos masculinos. el único problema es que el flow del rap de Megan Thee Stallion siempre es el mismo, y ese es un problema.

    In my opinion some of the first tracks on the album were a little lacklustre and could've done better without some features, but overall as a debut album Megan has done amazing. Tracks like Intercourse, Don't Rock Me To Sleep and Outside were very experimental and it's clear she's trying to step out of her signature style from Fever and Tina Snow, and even though I prefer those earlierIn my opinion some of the first tracks on the album were a little lacklustre and could've done better without some features, but overall as a debut album Megan has done amazing.     Masterpiece. Body is a catchy tune and comes with its very own viral tiktok dance. Such a remarkable woman. The use of sampling in Circles is a perfect balance of what rap and nostalgia should feel like. Absolutely amazing Album and can’t wait for her future music.

    A very well rounded album, that shows Megan's ability to be versatile, as she is able to dominate every song with her commanding voice and genuine talent. The fact that she also collaborated and sampled other talented artists is a great addition. Would definitely recommend whether you consider yourself a fan or not.

    Really wasn’t a big of fan of Megan’s music until Savage Remix and WAP.This is the first time I listened to a full length album from her and I can say I actually enjoyed this album and think this is a good debut album for a new artist.My faves off the album are Body,Go Crazy,Shots Fired,Circles and of course the singles

    Loved it!!! If you don’t wanna hear Megan rap about sex then don’t listen!! She definitely shows some more versatility in this album, especially with Shots Fired.

    From the moment it starts, "Shots Fired", is just engaging. Megan's flow is very good, backed-up by a very well chosen instrumental. "Circles" is put on the cool sample, but sometimes when the instrumental runs out, the song feels too empty. "Do It on the Tip" is really cool! Good chemistry beetween Megan and City Girls! One of them does a really dope inmpersonation of Nicki Minaj. "SugarFrom the moment it starts, "Shots Fired", is just engaging. Megan's flow is very good, backed-up by a very well chosen instrumental. "Circles" is put on the cool sample, but sometimes when the instrumental runs out, the song feels too empty. "Do It on the Tip" is really cool! Good chemistry beetween Megan and City Girls! One of them does a really dope inmpersonation of Nicki Minaj. "Sugar Baby" takes us back to trashy electro production of late 2000s, and it's not as good as previous songs, but still sounds as a good song to twerk to. "Movie" is another okay song. Definitely impressed by Lil Durk, sounding better than on other songs I've heard him, but the chorus how too little punch, so it feels empty. Plus, it kinda sounds like a retread of "WAP", especially with Megan (still impressive!) delivery.
    Cool instrumental, but SZA's vocals sounds kinda weird and off place, but she definitely fits better on "Freaky Girls" than Megan ngl. I'm not saying she's bad here, but I like more R&B approach here. And we finally arrive at "Body", it's cool. That's it haha. "What's New" starts really dope! This beat is just sick, and it's sucha fit for Megan's flow! Another cool-flow song is "Work That", which also tries to be a little more chill-at least from the instrumental side. "Intercourse" follows this chilled trend. Popcaan sounds so unintelligable, but he's really good! And same as "Freaky Girls", I think it would be cool to hear his solo version of the song, however Megan here goes a little down to sing, so it's really nice! "Go Crazy" sounds quirky, not bad!
    "Don't Rock Me to Sleep" is a switch-up to kinda dream-pop-y side of Megan, interesting! If her voice weren't as processed, and that "blah-blah-blah", it would be really gorgerous. But it's catchy! Still late-back, rap "Outside", is cool, it contains nice instrumentation! And it also "sugues" into "Savage Remix" flawlessly! And this remix is really cool, everything is so well-chosen. "Girls in the Hood" is a very heavy song, didn't expecting that! Album closer, "Don't Stop", has those distorted synths, they crash with Megan's voice really good! The first chorus is okay, but the one with Young Thug slays!
    It's a solid body of work. Contains some switch-ups, but nothing groundbreaking. Maybe just rap ain't for me, but I enjoyed Good News nonetheless!    … Expand

    Very diverse and versatile album. Megan was able to step out of her comfort zone and really deliver amazing songs in sounds she usually doesn’t venture in. Very proud of her!

    Gave us versatility with this one. She really did her thing! There’s songs with catchy lines and the songs you’re not feeling in the first listen grow on you after 2-3 listens. Definitely worth it.

    This was my favorite rap album of the year. Meghan blends her lyrical ability with catchy, fun hooks that will keep you dancing for the whole hour. I would highly recommend giving this masterpiece a listen ;)

I could go on and on there wasn't a single skip & I didn't even care for Megan until she dropped the singles then I went back to listen to her whole discography, and was astounded. This is a VERY solid and diverse hip hopTHE CREATIVTY!!!! Megan is a real life rapper, no doubt. From the versatility, to the lyricism, to the ferociousness, to the depth, to the production and samples etc...! I could go on and on there wasn't a single skip & I didn't even care for Megan until she dropped the singles then I went back to listen to her whole discography, and was astounded.     Megan is a great female rapper, and can spit. But I believe she lacks versatility, and by this I don't mean the way she actually raps, she just doesn't have much change within her lyrics. I am all for sexual lyrics, as well as boss lyrics, and I love that she is embracing her sexuality - but it gets a bit repetitive. I want to hear about Megan's life story, her emotions, coming up in theMegan is a great female rapper, and can spit. This is what I feel is missing, more depth. None of the tracks majorly stand out to me. However, in the tracks Megan raps on with her male counterparts, her dominance is asserted - and she's strong.

    The features on this album are good, with the highlights being Beyoncé & SZA who are both powerful and add to the songs they're on.

    Overall, this is a good album, but I don't see it as a strong debut. But it will definitely make it easier for her sophomore album to be much better, because I think she can do much better than this.    … Expand

Most tracks hit in a quick, 2-3 minute manner where they strike sonically almost as quick as they simply end, making standouts very easy to replay and low points even easier to avoid or forget. This mayMegan's flow and energy on the mic is beyond that of most rappers this early into their career, and on Good News she flourishes her skillset showing off higher-budget sounds to play with. Most tracks hit in a quick, 2-3 minute manner where they strike sonically almost as quick as they simply end, making standouts very easy to replay and low points even easier to avoid or forget. This may not be a full step of evolution artistically and musically, but for one of the most consistent in the genre it's another notch to the belt.… Expand

    Megan really did her thing! This is an amazing album, especially since it’s her debut. She shows a lot of versatility and the features are awesome. Savage Remix being my favourite song on the album, followed by Circles and Cry Baby.

    An absolutely stellar debut album by a rapper with a ton of talent and potential. Meg's quippy one-liners and demanding delivery make her a real presence behind the mic. Working with a number of great producers and collaborators, everyone from Juicy J to SZA really helps elevate this album to the next level for me.

    Absolutely blown away by this album. Megan’s best to date. Experimenting with pop, R&B and reggae, she shows her versatility. Love her!

    The crisp production makes this feel like a well-thought-out and intentional release, rather than a rushed cash-grab. However, it’s this poise that makes Good News exactly that: good. When held up to past releases like Tina Snow and Fever, Megan’s larger-than-life personality over the Dirty South production she is most familiar with is not showcased to its full potential.

    When Megan moves away from her standard lyrical fare, perpetuating her beef with Tory Lanez on opening track Shots Fired or penning the poppy tune Don’t Rock Me To Sleep, the results are some of the best moments on the album, and if these aspects of her style had been explored some more it could have made for a more diverse LP, but Good News is still chock-full of catchy hooks, stellar verses and feisty attitude.
