Good To Be Home lives up to its title and is easily his best and most consistent release since Below The Heavens.

Good To Be Home is the better, more streamlined version of Blu’s nonchalance.

Good to Be Home's recollections are only meant to be alluded to, a summer-jam album riddled with familiar nods to shared experiences but still walled off from observers who think they really know Blu.

The album does not compare to Below The Heavens as the excess number of tracks and the lack of coherence, despite how long Blu and Bombay collaborated to assemble this LP, result in a middle-of-the-road project, regardless if the road is in the West or East.
