    Amazing EP. I haven't listened to her mix-tape yet, but I can say these 6 songs flow very well and are just wonderful! Feels very relaxing, with its predominant R&B roots mixed with electronic influence, summed to Kelela's great voice, makes up for a definite must-listen.

    Hallucinogen is such an improvment over Cut 4 Me. With help from Arca and other incredible producers, Kelela meshes R&B with experimental electronica music which echos FKA Twigs' work, but, this sound is very much her own. We all need to pay attention because Kelela is grwoing as an artisit, and it's only going to get better from here.

    Alluring and intimate. Kelela definitely takes a step in the right direction. In a field where R&B mixes with synthesizers, Hallucinogen shines in its own dim light .

    Where Bjork's music is grounded in indie and experimental pop, as well as Bjork's innate quirkiness, Kelela's music is still R&B at its core. She's great singer and a fantastic talent.

    It’s not something that plays as well in the daylight. But when it soundtracks your darker, interior night life, it’s like being given a tailored suit. Everything fits, and the sum effect is something sharp and modern.
