As a long time fan and a follower of this band from the early days of watching him play basements in Wilkes-Barre, PA (remember the Black Wolf Lodge of Kingston!), all I have to say is wow. Just wow.

As Showalter has matured in sound and spirit, his music has evolved from a relatable albeit cliche emotional wax to something of raw intensity. Deeply rooted in classic singer-songwriter

Easily their best album to date.

This album is dripping with honesty, passion, and sincerity. Nicolas Vernhes (Deerhunter) does a fantastic job on production. Tim Showalter has created another great set, easily on par with "Heal".

New album Hard Love is altogether more bullish, Showalter unleashing his inner rock beast on a collection of songs that seem to reach for some kind of epiphany through sheer volume.

Hard Love delivers frontman Tim Showalter's hard stuff in exponents. Add this depth of relay onto Showalter's loaded visions, and it sounds as if the universe itself is groaning. We are out of our seats for this one.

It’s a perfectly fine album by a guy who wants to be much more than perfectly fine.
